Lonely Dandelion

Lonely Dandelion

I am a lonely Dandelion,
Waiting here in this backyard.
My heart is burdened  with sorrow,
My eyes are filled with tears.

Last summer my mother was living,
In a backyard far away.
When the morning sun came peeping,
She bloomed with a smile on her way.

The surrounding became hotter and hotter;
Her petals get shriveled and  withered.
When the winds howled about the buildings,
She released her seeds to the sky.

The tiny seeds like parachutes
Revolving, with the blowing wind.
One came down  and settled here,
On this gloomy backyard ground.

Autumn came dropping red leaves
Covered the seed on the ground.
Galloped the winter gray and cold
Everywhere was snowbound.

Snow gradually disappeared,
Then came lovely spring breeze.
The seed happily sprouted
Spreading  it's tiny green leaves.

With the smell of rain drops,
I was born on the top of the shoot.
After passing sweet childhood,
I smiled with petals colored bright.

Nobody has come to see me yet
No friends, no butterflies no bees,
So I am miserable and grieved
Oh!this loneliness no one sees....
