Angry Mother Nature

Millions of creatures running in fear,
But no escape from the mad wild fire,
Dead bodies lying down here and there,
Stopped my heart and filled eyes with tear,

What have we done for the past few decades?
Happily burning fossil fuel as our wish,
Destroying forests to fulfill our greed needs,
Without thinking anything what would be the next.

Mother nature has borne this cruelty of man,
For years and years she was  in deep silence,
At last her anger burst and  kindled  the fires,
But victims were her lovely innocent creatures,

There will be no future for us if we go at this pace,
That will be the end of this stupid human race,
Without water, without food but if there are only fires,
Let us jump into it and burn like grass hoppers.

  1. Very good poems to create an awareness about the destruction done by "MAN" for mother nature.
It is quite strange that I also have thought in similar lines and published a Blog post yesterday. It was extracted and restructured from a video clip of which the author is unknown. Pl read it.
