I traveled to the eastern coast

I traveled to the eastern coast,
Arugam Bay, It's a lovely name.
Though people say things different,
Beautiful place where we came.

I traveled to the eastern coast,
With you my dear friends.
And walked along the beach
Thinking on lovely school days.

I have lived many a year with you
Look back on those days  fondly
You all have been nice to me
And we have enjoyed a life lovely.

The sunrise over the ocean,
Painted a nice colorful skyline.
Oh!we became little children,
And collected sea shells again.

I kept my footprint in the sand
Waves slowly rolled towards them,
And washed  them  away into the sea,
We are the old people again.
